Retro Me This: Jordan Sky High Canvas Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey

Jordan Sky High Canvas Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey

Way back when in the 1980’s, Nike released the Jordan Sky High as a test of sorts, to figure out whether or not a sneaker could pull off the Jumpman logo.  Well, needless to say, I think the logo has done very well for itself throughout the years.  You know, for a logo.

Coming at us very soon will be a fresh, upgraded pair of the Jordan Sky High Canvas, seen here in Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey. The black canvas upper on this colorway is offset by cement grey that runs along the heel side of the ankle collar, the eyestay and midsole.  Varsity red trim can be seen on the outsole, ankle collar, tongue and most notably, the Jumpman logo.  With a bright white Swoosh and multiple lines of double stitching on the upper topping things off, the craftsmanship is quite high for a canvas sneaker.

Keep a lookout for these bad boys as both original colorways are slated for release some time next month.
