Sometimes, you really can’t help but wonder where designers gain their inspiration from and the Nike Air Royal Mid VT Dark Grey/Volt doesn’t fail to spark intrigue. While these kicks aren’t the first to ever combine a couple of materials, as there is even another colorway with the same build, the collaboration is still a curious one.
Charcoal gray wool envelops the light gray leather upper down to the outsole. Accompanying the two shades of gray are a white midsole and volt green laces that provide appropriate contrast. A “NIKE AIR” logo is carved into the heel of the midsole and stamped on the tongue. There is also a leather heel tab and an additional leather segment stitched right above the midsole.
