It's understandable why big sneaker brands such as Jordan Brand and Nike release special edition colorways overseas, but at the same time, it's a wonder as to why the love just can't be shared easily around the globe.  The Air Jordan 5 Quai 54 is locked in for release this week in Asia, but we'll take a peek at it nonetheless.

The tumble leather upper is splashed in white with a clean set of accent colors in tow.  Bright neon green goes to work on the eyelets as well as the lace clip, Jumpman logo and translucent outsole.  The logo is accompanied by a 3M tongue while black paints the midsole and inner.  This colorway definitely features a fresh and eye-popping look that would shine on any hot summer day.

We can only hope that the Air Jordan 5 Quai 54 will indeed hit retailers stateside as it was initially rumored to have a July 2nd release.  However, with that date later being pulled, the only confirmed drops have been in Europe and now Asia.  Stay tuned!
