Nike Zoom Kobe VI 'Think Pink'
We're all guilty of it, but it's easy to forget sometimes that there are a lot of people out there who are fighting for their lives against cancer, one of the most prevalent illnesses known to our society. Nike is giving us all an opportunity to contribute to the fight through the Nike Zoom Kobe VI 'Think Pink' special edition colorway.
This pink and white edition of Kobe's sixth signature sneaker will see a portion of its proceeds donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. For those of you that may not know, Kay Yow was the former head coach of the North Carolina State Women's Basketball Team. Unfortunately, she passed away in January 2009, succumbing to her battle with breast cancer. Nike has created the 'Think Pink' colorway in her memory as well as everyone who is or has been touched by breast cancer. The Kay Yow Foundation is dedicated to finding cures for all of the different types of cancer that women may be affected by during their lives.
The Nike Zoom Kobe VI 'Think Pink' will be released this Saturday Friday, August 26th with the usual retail price of $130. And remember, you will be contributing to the fight against cancer by copping a pair of these kicks!
