Editorial: Who Cares? – Adidas Pro Model Black/Black-Gold
Yet another fall release in all black with gold accents. Sure it is clean, classic, and easy on the wallet, but I'm tired of it. It's lazy. It reminds me of being in a middle school lunchroom in 1999 where if someone didn't have a specific pair of all-white low tops they'd have to waddle home with their underwear pulled over their head.
To me shoes are perhaps the single most expressive part of someone's wardrobe. The selection available in terms of color, brand, materials, and design is so large it is a wonder to behold. Yet every major brand this season is pushing an all black high-top with gold accents. The fall just started and I'm already over it. If I find a pair of these under my Christmas tree I'm turning it into a yule log.
