With both “Home” and “Away” versions of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite dropping in the coming weeks, sneaker heads are already gazing into the future with longing eyes at the LeBron 9 Elite “South Beach”.
Featuring the same carbon fiber, Kevlar, and ProCombat construction as other Elites, the South Beach colorway sports a Wolf Grey upper with Pink Flash laces and inner lining. Mint Candy pops on the midsole and Air Max unit above a translucent outsole. The overall effect is a bold Miami-Vice flavor that has us clamoring for more snapshots.
Also notable is that unlike the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite or Zoom Kobe VII Elite, the LeBron 9 Elite is the only shoe in the series to get alternate colorways to “Home” and “Away” thus far, seeing South Beach and Varsity Maize colorways.
