The Air Jordan XI Low “White – Varsity Red – Black” is back for a limited retro release, and we have some gorgeous official photos to drool over until they drop.

Back for the first time in 11 years, the shoe comes in a sleek, low profile, Chicago home colorway.  A White cordura and patent leather upper is complimented by black lining and a translucent Varsity Red sole.

Time will tell if these inspire the sort of riotous frenzy that came with the release of the Air Jordan Retro XI “Concord” last winter.  Since that time the AJ XI has been all the rage, with photos  of unreleased “Blackout” and “University Blue” samples generating major buzz in the sneaker community.

This release will definitely be the first real test of effectiveness for Nike’s new Twitter based pre-order system.

The Air Jordan XI Low “White – Varsity Red – Black” drops 05/05/2012 for $145.00.

As always, we’ll keep you posted on any future updates and release info @kicksologists or on Facebook.

Care of Nike.
