Spike Lee is no stranger to repping New York City and his beloved Knicks. To commemorate his devotion, Nike made him this custom Foamposite One dubbed “NYC”.
The shoe features a Metallic Orange Foamposite upper with Royal Blue highlights and a partially translucent sole. The Mars Blackmon logo is on the left heel (you might remember him from the vintage Air Jordan commercials Spike directed and starred in), and the logo for Spike’s production company, 40 Acres and a Mule, is on the right.
There are no plans for a general or limited release for the Nike Foamposite One “NYC”. We’ll keep you posted if that changes.
