As Nike is want to do before every Manny fight, they’ve released a new Pacquiao shoe to commemorate the storied fighter’s upcoming bout with Timothy Bradley.
This time the shoe is an Air Trainer 1.3 Max taking heavy cues from the Philippines. It features a white Hyperfuse upper, and pops with metallic colored highlights in red, blue, and yellow. The red to yellow gradient on the sole and Swoosh is a particularly nice touch.
“Ninong Knows” appears on the inside of the tongue, Filipino for “Godfather Knows”, a reference to Manny’s charity toward his native people. He is also pictured on the insoles, and his logo is embroidered on the heel.
