Building on the foundation of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII “USA”, the latest Kobe colorway, dubbed “Gold Medal”, works off the assumption (see: certainty) that Team USA wins it all at the 2012 Summer Games in London.

Like the “USA”, “Gold Medal” features a white upper with red FlyWire and blue liner. The biggest difference between the two is a metallic gold swoosh, but other details include a red outside, navy/gold heel cup, and gold details on the laces.
Nike has been all over the Olympics, the most hyped offering thus far being the Air Jordan VI/VII “Gold Medal Pack”.
The Nike Zoom Kobe VII “Gold Medal” drops in Asia on 08/11/2012. Look for an American release near that date.
