Sneaker Profile: Nike Kobe 9 NSW Lifestyle “Lakers”

Most people are waiting for the Kobe 9 to be released in February, but Nike will also release a casual version of the Kobe 9, the NSW Lifestyle “Lakers”. This is yet another colorway of the Kobe 9 NSW Lifestyle, but Nike has also unveiled the “Marble” and “Year Of The Horse” colorways.

The “Lakers” colorway will feature the team’s primary colors, purple and gold. The shoe itself is mostly gray and white, but it does have gold eyelets and purple inner lining. The side panels which are white are also covered by snakeskin, paying homage to the black mamba.

The Kobe NSW Lifestyle collection looks promising this year, especially the “Lakers” colorway. The purpose of this collection is to release kicks that can be worn in a casual setting, and this shoe can be used for a variety of occasions.
