The Kobe 9 Elite Masterpiece was released this past weekend and like expected, they sold out fast. Do not worry Kobe fans, more colorways will be released in the coming weeks. This Friday, the Maestro colorway will be released just in time for All-Star weekend. Nike has announced that the Inspiration colorway will be available on March 1st.
The reviews have been coming in and the overall the Kobe 9 Elite has performed well. The Inspiration colorway pays tribute to the only professional team Bryant has played for, the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe has been in Los Angeles since 1996 and 18 years later, he has delivered five NBA championships. Once Bryant is able to fully recover from his knee injury, he will come back to the court and rock the Inspiration colorway, which will be the first time Bryant will wear the Kobe 9 Elite in an NBA game.
The Inspiration colorway will fit very well with the Lakers team colors. The yellow definitely pops out in these kicks, which coincides perfectly with the famous Laker gold. Most of the shoe is dominated by black and anthracite. The heel also have some silver along with the nine red stitches. Like all the other Kobe 9 Elite colorways, the shoe is equipped with Flyknit, Flywire and Lunarlon technologies, which makes it a very light shoe although it is a high top.
