Our friends over at Nice Kicks are throwing an amazing event next week with some great guests. If you are in Austin, Texas or somewhere not far by, make sure you check out the four day event.
The events will start on Monday, March 10 at the Nice Kicks store and the last event will be on Saturday, March 15. The first event will feature Larry Luk, who is an artists that specializes on kicks art and has done a masterful job with some classic sneakers.
If you cannot make it one Monday, you are going to have to wait until Thursday, March 13 until you can attend another event. Sway will be in the Nice Kicks store from 7AM-11AM hosting his daily radio show, Sway In The Morning on Shade 45. Sway will have special guests through out his broadcast, which is a great opportunity to meet some of his prominent guests. From 12PM to 6PM, The Nice Kicks Showcase will be happening live from the rooftop. The event is powered by Staple and Puma and Pony will bring in special guests and a special DJ.
The real treat is happening from 4PM to 5 PM on Thursday, when Casey Veggies will visit the store. Veggies is an up and coming artists from Inglewood, CA, but he is quickly becoming a fan favorite. His appearance is presented by Puma.
Sway will be back to do his radio show again on Friday morning, giving fans another opportunity to experience a prominent national radio show. At noon, Nice Kicks teamed up with New Balance and the will release the Grand Anse 1600. If you want to be one of the first to own a pair, this could be a great event to attend.
Lastly, Nice Kicks has the Young Money SXSW Experience from 4PM to 7PM and their label is loaded with talent. The event is presented by Trukfit, which is Lil Wayne’s clothing line. Although Lil Wayne is not confirmed to be in attendance, expect some members of Young Money to put on quite a show. If you want to know who will be at the event, make sure you arrive early and find out for yourself. Nice Kicks will not disappoint.
