Jordan Brand is set to drop another Jordan 1 but in denim this time. JB seems to be following a similar theme of the Nike Denim LeBron 11s that dropped last month. We here at Kicksologists believe that this is Father’s Day sneaker.
Like I previously stated that this follows a similar make up to the LeBron 11 Denims, so it sports and dark indigo denim material that wraps most of the side panels and is contrasted with black leather in the in between panels, toebox, tongue and the Nike swoosh. They three upper eyelets are in the primary colors of blue, red, and yellow. It is finished off with a white midsole and a Carolina blue outsole. Now here are some interesting facts and details on the kicks that make us speculate that this is a Father’s Day sneaker. In the tag attached to the tongue has the title “Family Forever” and his quote under it stating, “If you accept the expectations of others, especially negative ones, then you never will change the outcome”. Another detail is on the insole of the shoe, it is his famous number “23” with each number on one insole but printed on a gate, and behind the gate is a blue sky background which could indicate the heaven’s gates that pays tribute to his father’s passing. That isn’t convincing enough? Well on the shoe lace tips is printed the word “Pops” on it. Anyway the detailing on this particular shoe is amazing.
