The KD 4’s debuted in December of 2011 and features adaptive fit technology and zoom air cushioning. Exhibiting simplicity to designs of great detail, the KD 4’s provide a modest expense for consumers at a 95$ price point. Kevin Durant’s shoe, too, demonstrates safety and conditional support due to the added velcro strap across the security of the laces. History
It started with the “Basketball Never Stops” campaign in 2011, in which KD blew away the crowds with record-setting achievements during the time of the NBA lock out. When play resumed, Kevin dominated the court. Durant was named an All-Star for the third time and took home MVP honors in a Western Conference win. He also went on to win his third consecutive scoring title, made his third All-NBA First Team appearance, and graciously led the Thunder to the NBA Finals.
Although a hungry Miami Heat team defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, Durant got a little redemption when he broke the all-time Olympic scoring record en route to his first gold medal in London. Durant racked up all of these achievements in perhaps the season’s most popular signature hoop shoe, the Nike Zoom KD IV.
