Nike LeBron VI
The LeBron 6 is one of LeBron’s toughest shoes in his collection and was released on October 31st, 2008. This shoe was made to last but critiques believed that the LeBron 6 was too bulky or too heavy. This shoe features a full-length double-stacked Zoom Air Cushioning Unit and a boot-like frame resembling the Air Force One Hi Top, which gives it a nice off the court look. Before the LeBron 6, his previous shoes were made strictly for on the court action and not many people would wear the shoes outside of the court. This shoe was different from the rest because it was a shoe designed to have a dual purpose, not just one-dimensional. Although people mentioned that this shoe’s weight would be too much, it is actually LeBron’s lightest shoe in his collection at the time.

History
In the 2008-2009 NBA Season, LeBron James was averaging 28.4 points, 7.2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. With these consistent numbers throughout the year, James was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player and it was well deserved. While James was with the Cavaliers, he carried his team and made sure they were true contenders during the playoffs.
In these playoffs, LeBron James and the Cavaliers were seeded number 1 in the Eastern Conference bracket. The Cavaliers had a terrific year, while James was also having a great year. The Cavaliers went through the first two rounds of the 2009 playoffs with no problem, going 8-0 against the Detroit Piston and the Atlanta Hawks. When it got to the Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic, they ran into some trouble. Although the Cavaliers were heavy favorites to make it to the NBA Finals, the Magic surprised everyone by winning the series 4 games to 2 games.
Although the season didn’t end the way they wanted it to, they still had a fantastic year that was undeniable, along with LeBron James who is undeniably the best player in the planet.
