This year so far has been definitely a year of sport blue colored Jordans all around. Some releases like the Jordan 3 “Sport Blue” and the same theme, on the 14s were also released previously this year. Also releasing in the “Sport Blue” color is the retro of a classic, the “Sport Blue” 6s. These were first released back in 1991 so this particular colorway being retro’d has been anticipated by fans for a very long time.

Compared to the original version, nothing much has really changed. The sneaker still dons an all-white upper with a sport blue midsole. The inner sock lining is still a black to contrast the outer white body. The only difference is the different icy look of the outsoles as all of the current retros carry the clear blue ice soles to prevent the yellowing. Other than that these are pretty much identical to its predecessors.
You can expect to cop these wonderful retros at all major Jordan Brand retailers. These little pieces of history will retail at $170. These Jordan 6s “Sport Blue” and the matching apparel will be available this Saturday, August 30, 2014. Will these be a cop for you?
