Despite the disastrous Los Angeles Lakers season, many fans will remember Byron Scott as a member of the Lakers in the mid 80s winning championships. Byron Scott is scheduled to join the mayor James T. Butts Jr at the ribbon cutting ceremonies on Saturday, March 7, 2015. The current head coach of the LA Lakers grew up in Inglewood and will help introduce the 13,000 square foot store.
For the Kicksologists who live in the Los Angeles area, the newest WSS will be located in Inglewood.
The event will run from noon to 3:00PM and the DJ Mustard will be on the turntables. To make the event even better, there will be two $250 WSS Shopping Sprees (enough for a new pair of Jordans) and giveaways including LA Laker tickets!

Three-time Laker NBA Champion and current head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, Byron Scott, returns to his hometown of Inglewood to join Mayor James Butts Jr. and other city officials in inaugurating neighborhood footwear retailer WSS and their all new store on Saturday, March 7th starting at noon.

As part of the WSS Inglewood store opening celebration, company executives will be at hand along with Scott, Mayor Butts and others for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Shoppers in attendance to the new 13,000 square foot store located at 3000 W. Century Blvd., and more than double the size of the previous store, will be greeted by the music of renown LA-area DJ and music producer, DJ Mustard, and the opportunity to win great prizes including two $250 WSS Shopping Spree, L.A. Laker tickets, custom art limited edition t-shirts, among other giveaways. This location will also feature the ever-popular Brand Jordan shop that will carry a full brand presentation, from performance to lifestyle footwear and apparel, to extremely limited and always in-demand Air Jordan Retros.
