Nike’s Twitter Account Responds to Troll

Social media accounts are much more than awesome photos and videos. It’s often used as a method to send information. Sometimes brands use it to quickly respond to their fans and followers. At times, Nike responds to a slew of enthusiasts who have questions about releases and shoes they’ve missed. Charles Henderson aka Est1991__ kept bugging the Twitter account with replies to their tweets.

Unhappy with missing the Air Max 90 “Corks” and the Oreo Flyknit Racer 2.0 releases, he took it to social media to see if he can squeeze any information out. He wanted to be special and receive free stuff like influencers do, so he asked.

Be careful for what you wish for. Nike heard him and sent him a box full of wine corks and Oreos. You know, the “Milks favorite cookie” type of Oreos. They found a way to link his Twitter to address. All in all, this is pretty awesome. Kudos to Nike for proving theres a person behind the account and having some fun with the situation. Mr. Henderson, we applaud you too! We’ll be expecting to see the corks on eBay.
