Kanye West Not Happy With Steph Curry Kicks

Kanye West joined Nike and became their first non-athlete to get a signature line. Today, West is with adidas and is helping them rank in terms popularity. West took his talents and created the Yeezy 750 Boosts, an all gray suede upper featuring a zipper and strap.

They look very fashionable and feature adidas’ innovative Boost cushioning. With that technology alone, they’ve been comfortable enough for West to play basketball in them. He was spotted in his signature shoes at Staples Center where his wife Kim Kardashian rented out Staples Center for his birthday celebration. Basketball has been a hobby as of late for Kanye. He was seen at his hometown Chicago Bulls chatting it up with Scottie Pippen and at the Oracle Arena to see Stephen Curry eliminate the Houston Rockets.

In a phone interview with Hot 97, Kanye expressed his concerns with Curry’s Under Armour kicks. West believes Curry would be an awesome Yeezy athlete that needs to get rid of the Under Armour kicks (Via Warriors World):

“I would like to be really great friends with Steph. I think he would be an awesome Yeezy athlete. I think he needs to get rid of those Under Armours right quick. The world would love to see Steph in some Yeezys.”

It’s nice for the man to dream, but there’s no way Curry leaves UA. They’ve been doing everything they can for Curry ever since they signed him. The reigning MVP has been healthy and the Curry One seems to be perfect for Steph. For now, Curry is focused on getting back on track and getting out of the 2-1 deficit they currently face. If they leave Cleveland without a win, it’s going to be tough to uncrown King James.
