I hardly ever get excited for a launch date anymore, but when I heard that these were releasing, I immediately added it to my calendar. As of late, Nike Basketball has been lacing up the Mamba and his squad with exclusive PE’s that never make it onto retail shelves. Thankfully, we have a release for these Hyper Grape beauties and I absolutely cannot wait.
Paying homage to his two jersey numbers, “8-24” are displayed on the heel of the right shoe. One of the hot debates this year is figuring out what jersey number the Lakers decide to hang up in the banners. Personally, I would want both, just like you get both numbers on heel of the shoe.

This special edition is dressed in a familiar fashion with Hyper Grape Flyknit, with white and black hits throughout. Finishing off the look is an icy translucent bottom continuing the transparent theme for the Kobe 11. Wish it was a white outsole instead of purple, but I can’t complain at all.
