Nike Kobe Fade To Black Pack | Rumors and Details

Nike Basketball is bringing their old molds back into production for a special send-off pack for Kobe Bryant.  Similar to the Prelude pack in 2013, Nike is supposedly bringing back the Kobe 5 through 11 in predominantly black colorways.

Late last week, news broke out on Instagram via @KB824 that a “Fade To Black” pack is on its way.  Kobe models 5 through 11 will each get a makeover with new colors to be priced at $200.00 USD.  I highly doubt each shoe will be decked out in all-black as the color names for each are different, but as displayed, the Kobe 11 will see a blackout version.  I’m very interested to see how the “Dark Raisin” Kobe 8 turns out; that’s a pretty odd name for a color.

If you’re wondering what happened to the Kobe 1-4 models, there is news that it may release in a white theme, but nobody truly knows at this point.  I would love to see that happen and this pack looks to go beyond the Prelude as it marks Kobe Bryant’s exit from the NBA.  Let’s hope the technology remains as good as it was during each models debut.  Personally can’t wait for the Kobe 5 release, favorite model out of the bunch.

UPDATE 2/23/2016: Style List Shows Release Dates

A photo of the release dates have been posted as the first four models, Kobe 1-4 to release on March 19th, 2016.  Dates are still unofficial, but assume it’ll be on this date.  The rest of the dates are scattered in April. One of the most notable models is the Hyperdunk 2008 model but since the photo is cut off, we don’t have an idea of when.
