Nike Hyperdunk Retro ‘Triple Black’ Images

It’s been eight years since the game has changed.  Eight years since the ever changing technology that is now a cliche, Flawier and Lunarlon, the Nike Hyperdunk brought it all to the table.  Nike’s flagship sneaker, they Hyperdunk is returning in its original form this Summer for a retro release.

For the first time, Nike Basketball is bringing it all back with a familiar all triple-black colorway.  Originally released in 2008, the same look returns except with a whole new upper and blacked-out Flywire.  It was a historic debut for the USAB team in ’08 as they cashed all their chips in the Olympics to win the Gold medal.  It was called the redeem team with players LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Carmelo Anthony that showed up for a historic win.

Not sure if Nike will use Lunarfoam that was used originally, so we’ll see how that turns out when they release.  One of the issues of the shoe was the longevity of the cushion as it would bottom out very quickly.  Let’s hope it’s different this time around.

The Nike Hyperdunk ‘Triple-Black” will release in the coming weeks for $150.00 USD.
