adidas is going all in this year with so much new product it’s incredible. Last year they released NMD’s and created a boom with waves of Ultra Boosts. We here at Kicksologists are trying to keep up so here we got our first video of the year, the Dame 3 “Lights out” by the Three Stripes.
The Dame 3 “Lights Out” is dressed in all black throughout. Not much is going on, but it offers a clean for the away Portland games. Personally, I find the colorway to be simple and casual friendly. Not sure if I would go out and party with them as the upper would be hard to manage.
What I love about the Dame 3 model is definitely the cushion and snug fit. The Bounce cushion is nice from try on. It’s plush and well, “bouncy”. The midsole is pretty thick. I would like to see if adidas could shave off a bit of the midsole to bring the footbed closer to the ground. Better control for point guards. As far as the fit, it is amazing. I got narrow feet giving me some issues with heel lockdown. These however ride the achilles a bit higher giving me an ease of mind. An external heel counter is also used for added stability.
Overall, the adidas Dame 3 model offers so much for the price. Priced at $115.00 USD, you get great lockdown, grip, and cushion all in one package. Let’s hope to see Dame Lillard drop dimes and get some wins to ride the Blazers into the 8th seed in the Western Conference.
