It’s hard to argue against an all-black Kobe sneaker model. The five-time champion known as The Black Mamba almost always has this coming for him each year, the blacked out Kobe shoe. This year is no different with this latest Kobe A.D. releasing in a couple weeks.
The Nike Kobe A.D. started off the series with very few colorways. Each of them were base colors with a few tones like Midnight-Navy, Varsity-Red, Black/White, and a few other simplistic colors. Since then, we gotten more colors and patterns for the A.D. including NCAA ‘Shine Pack‘ and this weekends ‘Flip the Swtich’ pack.
Not much to say about this Black Mamba Kobe A.D. other than it being a triple-black sneaker with hits of red on the heel and Shozoku branding seen on the insole. Other than that you have a translucent smoked outsole and what looks to be a matte finish on Swoosh. Normally the Kobe line holds off until Fall to release a blackout model, but with Kobe retired now, things change.
The Nike Kobe A.D. ‘Black Mamba’ drops May 12, 2017 for $160.00 USD at all major Nike retailers. They drop as a general release and no word if they come out in family sizes. Will keep you posted with more information once it becomes available.
