The latest Nike Kobe A.D. NXT drops today in a clean White and Black colorway.  Inspired by the endless highlight reels and Mamba Moments, Nike created this Endless Tunnel edition commemorate.

Using the same interchangeable insert seen on the Kobe 11 with a few tweaks, the NXT model has changed the mold with its look.  It does not get more simple than this.  You got yourself a White base on about everything except the Black inverted Swoosh and a Bright Red insole.  On the insole is an image of a Zen lotus flower inspired by the Flyknit shroud overlay seen on the shoe.

What’s interesting about this Kobe model is that it has no laces.  Well at least not the traditional kind.  We have a couple pieces on the changes that lead designer, Eric Avar made on the NXT model as it may contain the future of Nike Basketball.  Increasing in popularity, the reality of auto-lacing is very near.  We already have it on the Air-Mag but also on the recent, Nike HyperAdapt.  It is not too far away so don’t be surprised to see the Kobe line be the first to debut auto-lacing into the basketball world.

The Nike Kobe A.D. NXT is available now for $200.00 USD at your local Nike retailers.
