NBA LIVE 18 Cover Athlete James Harden

EA Sports has announced that Houston Rockets superstar James Harden will be their NBA Live 18 cover athlete.

Releasing in the next coming weeks, NBA Live 18 will be featuring the runner up MVP in their new game.  This marks the second time Harden has graced a video game, the first time in NBA 2K16 alongside with Stephen Curry and Anthony Davis.

James Harden on being a cover athlete,

“When I heard about working with EA SPORTS and being the cover athlete of NBA LIVE 18 I was pretty excited for the opportunity,” said Harden. “NBA LIVE 18 is all about creating your own identity and making your mark on the league, and I can definitely relate to that. If anybody knows about creativity it’s me.”

A Demo version of the game will go live tomorrow on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live.  In the demo, it will feature a prologue section of NBA Live’s new single player called, “The One”.  In this mode, users create their own player to showcase in developmental stages, events, on the streets and iconic gyms.  All these situations will improve your draft stock in the game.

The NBA Live 18 demo also lets you play the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors against each other, in Oracle Arena, with all the uniform options available.

EA also announced that anyone who pre-orders the game will receive a 33 percent discount which drops the price from $59.99 to 39.99.  Pre-orders will be held only at participating retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart.  So if you want to purchase the game for the low, make sure you pre-order yours today.

NBA Live 18 will be available on September 15, 2017 for $59.99 at all major video game retailers.
