Paul George made some waves over this off-season moving locations from Indiana to Oklahoma City.  Bearing a new uniform, Nike Basketball has taken immediate action on new colorways for their latest signature athlete, Paul George.

Expanding the Nike PG 1 lineup, the model gets a USA colorway for the first time.  Sporting the standard Navy Blue (or Obsidian), Red, and White, this USA version also adds Silver to the look.  Great to see a switch up with the lineup of colors on this one as the Silver lining adds a nice touch to the sneaker.

As far as what theme this shoe is, we do not know.  Having a USA colorway dropping this time of year before Fall is a bit odd.  However given the details on the insoles, it looks to be a special themed sneaker that tells a story of Paul George.  If you recall a few years ago, Paul George suffered a career ending injury and broke his leg during an exhibition game for Team USA.  Thankfully, Paul George successfully recovered and is now back in Playoff Contention in the NBA.  This colorway could possibly be inspired by those events as it has pushed him to be a greater player and to become one of the best two-way players in the league.

The Nike PG 1 USA is scheduled to release September 16, 2017 for $110.00 USD.  However, Dicks Sporting Goods right now has them available with the status, “Ready to Ship” so you can try that site as well.
