The NBA will launch their Nike apparel tomorrow, September 29, 2017.
Many have been waiting for this partnership to happen. For the past 11 years, adidas has outfitted the NBA making their jerseys, warm up pants, championship gear, and more. With the rise of Nike and still reigning supreme in the basketball industry, tomorrow will be the first time it debuts its new technology for their on court jerseys.
Last Friday, Nike unveiled their “Statement” jerseys in Los Angeles. Many of the teams kept their classic uniform design such as the Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, and the Los Angeles Lakers just to name a few. However, this was a great opportunity for teams to debut a new look with the Nike Basketball jerseys such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia Sixers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
All teams involved will also get old school retro uniforms throughout the season. As years pass by, Nike will reintroduce more hardwood classics for respective teams.
Starting tomorrow, September 29, all Nike NBA apparel will be for sale. Prices for the jerseys will start at $109.99 for the Swingman edition and $199.99 for the Authentic edition. Confirmed prices is a seen in the photo below including the shorts if you were interested.
If you are also wondering if the jerseys will have their respective ads patched onto the jersey, it is said that those will only be sold at their team store. No idea if it will be sold at Nike and NBA retailers. Will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
