With the 2009-2010 season’s scoring title on his resume and a strong postseason showing against the Lakers in the first round, Kevin Durant is primed to lead the next era of NBA superstars to greater heights. Today, the first detailed photo-op of the Nike Zoom KD III hit the web so let’s take a look.
Composed of leather and synthetic materials, the upper is relatively simple with a sleek silhouette. This particular colorway contrasts white with blue and clearly, the KD series has joined the Flywire wagon as well. The white Swoosh logo is bordered in silver on the lateral side panel while the medial side reveals a much less extravagant silver Swoosh next to Durant’s signature. The KD logo is printed on the tongue with the “d” punched out and the inner lining and ankle collar are suited in a mesh fabric material. Of course, these kicks will come fully fitted with Zoom air bags to top things off.
Now, this is merely the first look at the early sample of the Nike Zoom KD III so we’ll see if the design is tweaked at all by the time they release next year around February or March. What do you think of the sneak peek?
