Nike Air Max Command Black/White-Volt
The Nike Air Max series remains as one of the most highly chased sneakers on the market. However, with the Air Max 95 dominating most collectors’ interest, the Nike Air Max Command has gone relatively unnoticed since its release nearly 20 years ago.
With a new Black/White-Volt colorway in tow, the Air Max Command is perhaps looking to etch itself into our sneaker seeking minds. The upper is built with a combination of leather and mesh and as you can see, the color contrasts on this colorway are pretty sweet. The mesh regions of the upper are black, offset by volt green and a deep charcoal that paint the leather on the side panels and forefoot. On the heel side, we can see more volt with shiny silver on both the upper and midsole. The Air unit windows expose more volt green on the interior while the tongue flashes silver and of course, we can’t go without taking notice of the bright white Swoosh. The outsole is doused with clean white as well.
Whatever the reasons are behind the Nike Air Max Command being unpopular, I can’t exactly say, but what I do know is that this colorway is rather sick and I definitely would not mind copping a pair.
