In case anyone missed it, Kobe has been rocking a fresh and clean colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI during home games since he debuted the ‘Christmas’ colorway on December 25th during a blowout loss to LeBron James and the Miami Heat. The Lakers have since struggled a bit, but seem to be picking up the intensity with four straight victories as of late.
The Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Concord’ offers a white upper buried in a sea of light grey reptile scales with a black Swoosh that rests at the midfoot. Concord purple paints the midsole, heel cap and inner lining. This is also the first colorway to visually reveal the actual Flywire threads that reside between two layers of breathable mesh. Kobe recently passed the Big O, Oscar Robertson to break into the single-digit ranks at no. 9 on the NBA’s all-time scoring list while wearing these kicks. So you could say, these have already become a little bit historic.
The Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Concord’ will drop this Saturday, January 15, 2011 for general purchase at retailers across the country for $130. Will you cop these or wait for more specialty colorway releases?
