Black History Month Air Jordan III Tributary Kicks

Air Jordan III 'Black History Month'

There’s always room for more colorways from Michael Jordan’s imperial line of sneakers.  As far as superstars go, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant went toe-to-toe on Martin Luther King Day wearing the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Black History Month’ and Nike Zoom KD III ‘MLK’, respectively.  MJ may not be able to rock the Air Jordan III ‘Black History Month’ in an NBA game, but we can sure rock em’ on the street.

The Air Jordan III ‘Cement’ is surely the colorway that we’ve all had our eyes on for the last few months, but these make a strong case for being mentioned in the discussion of desirability.  The upper is primarily black with a material combination of suede and leather.  Gold hits shine throughout the shoe via the stitching, Jumpman logos and eyelets.  “BHM” sits on the interior of the tongue, which reflects Nike’s honoring of Black History Month.  Supposedly, only 3000 pairs were produced, so this colorway of the Air Jordan III immediately becomes drops of fire as far as demand goes.

The Air Jordan III ‘Black History Month’ will be released on February 26, 2011 in conjunction with the Nike Zoom Kobe VI tribute pair.  These and the ‘Cement’ edition, not a bad way to start 2011 at all.
