I have spent the last few years falling head over heels for Kevin Durant. His skills on the court are unbelievable, and I was fortunate enough to interview him at an event in 2010 and he was as gracious as they come.
Now I’m falling in love with Durant for a completely different reason – his shoes.
The Nike Zoom KD IVs have a new colorway to add to the family. The “Texas Longhorns” version of Durant’s new signature shoe are an obvious representation of Durant’s alma mater. Even as an Oregon fan I have to say these look pretty sweet.
According to Nike they should be available at select retailers sometime this spring.
I would love to see Nike come out with some more college colorways for their big-name shoes. We saw them do it with the Kobe’s and LeBron’s, but since neither of those guys actually went to college it probably wasn’t quite as meaningful.
