The 2014 All Star game brings us the new All Star themed line up from Nike. The All Star special editions all have one thing in common, a glow-in-the-dark feature. We’ve seen GITD trend in the past year with some success. The Kobe Venomenon 4s arrival in the US market launched with a GITD sole and sold out immediately. The Kobe Prelude V came with a GITD sole making it one of the most wanted of the Preludes, but not many of us were able to enjoy that model due to limited supply. Reebok also released a GITD Kamikaze II Retro which was not as big of a hit in sales, but made for an interesting novelty shoe not short on style and comfort features either. For those who missed out on these past GITD releases, the New Orleans All Star Game editions for Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, and Lebron James signature shoes will release on February 14th.
The KD 6 gets a graffiti style upper with mint green swoosh, black base, and mint green GITD sole. KD 6 fans will enjoy the detailed multi-colored, graffiti art highlights on these.
The soon-to-be-released Kobe 9s will get a multi-colored, stained glass ankle support treatment as a base for the flyknit forefoot upper, gold swoosh, and fragmented print laces for this “Masterpiece” edition. GITD sole will provide a guiding light for Bourbon Street strolls.
The Lebron XI is fit for a New Orleans nightlife King with purple highlights along-side mint green GITD armor and textured round laces.
Pick up your faves of this collection on February 14th from Nike and retailers.
