It seems like every week we are delivering another new colorway for the Kobe 9. We got the Hyper Grape, Hyper cobalt, and the new Moonwalker option 0n Nike iD. Well now we have a peek at an upcoming release that has a ghostly finish to it. The color code on the box is labeled “Black/Grey-White” and according to the eBay photos, the owner just so happens to name it, “Ghost”. Whether or not this colorway has any significance to Kobe Bryant remains unknown.

There isn’t much to really say about this set up as the whole upper has a similar print to the Hyper Cobalt model. Not exactly sure if it is the same upper pattern, but it is very alike. Black is seen on the tongue, laces, heel, and midsole with white speckles. Grey fills in the inner lining, shozoku logo, and stitching on the heel for a low key contrast. Nike has made this a Premium model. Not sure if there is any significant upgrades to quality or performance, but the price has gone to $170.00 USD. It still remains to be a Engineered Mesh seen on the upper so no enhancements there.
One of our sources had stated that it would be released on August 1st, but it was pushed back to early weeks of September. As of right now the release is anticipated to be a general release so it will be widely available. We will keep you updated if we get more info on this Premium Kobe 9 model.
