The Air Jordan 14s became iconic when Michael Jordan hit the step back game winner in game six against Byron Russell and the Utah Jazz. In that moment, the Bulls completed their second three-peat and capped Michael’s career with the Windy city in 1998. Tinker Hatfield designed the 14s with the Ferrari 550 in mind and now it will pay homage. The 14s will feature Ferrari’s signature yellow from its logo and you can’t buy a sports car without a red paint job. The Ferrari 14s also known as the “Red Suede” will be a Quick Strike release.

Select Footlockers and House of Hoops will have raffles and sweepstakes for those who can purchase the kicks. From Footlocker’s website:

Inspired by MJ’s love of Ferrari’s this AJ 14, features a red suede upper, carbon fiber shell and black and yellow accents.
When we mentioned select, we really mean it since currently there are only 8 locations (6 Footlocker and 2 Footaction) releasing the Ferrari 14s; all are in Chicago, Illinois. If your fears include not getting your hands them, don’t worry – we have good news. In September there will be a wider release.

More good news, well kind of – for the Chicago sneakerheads; retailer Ruvilla has also confirmed the release at their Chicago locations.
