Nike Kobe X ‘Flight’ | Newest Images

For the first time in recent memory, Kobe Bryant’s first batch of colorways have been simpler than usual. Usually, Nike brings out crazy patterns and themes for the line, but for the Kobe X, Nike has done a great job keeping it low key. A few weeks ago we got our first look at a simple black and silver colorway with 3M reflective hits.

We have newer images and your eyes are not being fooled, that is orange! Initially, Kobe Bryant wore a black-silver and translucent sole pair that we call “Muse” when the Bulls came to Los Angeles this past season.  Since then, the “Muse” Kobe X was seen several times on and off the court. These new images confirms that the “Muse” isn’t yet releasing. For now, these will remain a player’s edition or perhaps a Nike iD creation.

The Nike Kobe X “Flight” will have what looks to be a dark teal’ish upper with hits of orange on the tongue and portions of the inner lining. Nike remains consistent with another translucent outsole and 3M featured on the swoosh and tongue. Personally, the orange absolutely kills the look for me. The “Muse” pair that I compare with below should and would have been a classic if released.  Unfortunately, we get this random orange hit on a “what could have been a classic colorway.
