Nike LeBron 13 Tech Info Leaked

We’re about several months away from the new LeBron model in October and this morning we got a few leaked images hinting at the LeBron 13. We’re not sure if these images and tech specs are official, but we’ll take it for now.

First off, the silhouette. Now I know it’s hard to judge from the photo, but it looks to have an adaptive fit system around the ankle. This is reminiscent of the Air Jordan 20 where you have a strap around the ankle except this one functions a bit differently.  For those who are thinking to wear these off the court, you might be disappointed.  Then again, I’m only speculating here as we only have the silhouette image.

Could Hex-Zoom become more responsive in the LeBron 13?

Nike has been more and more innovative each year for their basketball department.  Kobe Bryant debuted the seamless textile upper, Kevin Durant with the Flyweave Upper with the recent KD 8, and now for the LeBron 13 this mapped out Hyperposite.

To be honest, Nike has been doing a little too much for the LeBron series as of late.  This is not a simple mesh and synthetic upper, but hey, LeBron James isn’t a simple athlete by any means.  Nike Basketball loves to spoil their King with the latest and greatest technology by giving him the tools to support his game.  It’s to no surprise that Nike is making lockdown and support as their priority for LeBron as his game revolves in attacking the basket with more force than anyone in the league.  You can’t have LeBron playing in Nike Flyknit or mesh.

Lastly, we have this new articulated Zoom Leap System for cushion. Hex Zoom returns to the LeBron 13 promising to have a bigger and more explosive impact on court. I think Nike will link the Zoom bags together creating a one of a kind experiences for the LeBron. Sounds unreal right? This perhaps could be the most responsive LeBron yet. I’m really curious on how these will turn out. To me, the LeBron 12 did not move forward for the line. Surely it was great on court, but nothing about it impressed me.

So could this be the new LeBron 13? With the new mapped Hyperposite construction and new Nike Zoom Leap System, the LeBron 13 looks to be the most innovative model yet for the King.  Let us know your thoughts below in the comment section and on Twitter.
