Coverboys: Curry, Harden, Davis in NBA 2K16 Screenshot

It gets pretty lonely during the off-season without live NBA basketball.  Of course there’s the NBA Draft, free agency player movements, and trades, but watching Skip and Stephen A. Smith on ESPN isn’t the same as dunks and buckets.  Thankfully, the people at 2K Sports are working hard to provide the best basketball simulation to date with NBA 2K16.

Last night, 2K revealed three screenshots that showcase their cover athletes, James Harden, Stephen Curry, and Anthony Davis.  Each screenshot displays realistic facial features and even body shapes.  2K this year decided to not only face scan players, but also did body scans to provide the most authentic experience yet.  Personally, I have been a huge fan of NBA 2K franchise for many years and sometimes I think I’m watching a live NBA game on TV.  Not only do the player models look genuine, but the arena, the crowds, and even the court itself.

Check out the screen shots below and let us know which player looks the most accurate.  We’ll keep you update with the latest NBA 2K16 news as 2K reveals them in the upcoming weeks.  NBA 2K16 will hit all current-gen consoles and PC on September 26, 2015.
