Nike Kobe X and XI | What’s Coming and When

With the rise of Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry, the Big 3 from Nike Basketball has become more of a second option for some athletes.  That’s not saying that the KD, LBJ, KB signature lines aren’t doing well, there are just more options for consumers and Kicksologists.  However, Kobe Bryant has shown that his popularity still carries much influence in the basketball world.

Judging from his recent Nike Rise Tour in Asia, it is likely that Nike will continue his signature line even long after his retirement.  Many have wondered whether the Kobe X or XI would be the last of the bunch, but we have some news that the Mamba’s reign will not end anytime soon.

From the information we can see that there will be at least nine more iterations of the Kobe X with three more Elite Low’s including a special ‘Christmas’ sneaker.  On top of that, the Elite High will return in high collar Flyknit form with a blue theme, red colorway, and most likely another ‘What The’ edition.  Nike will close the tenth sneaker out with blue and red Elite Highs. Early next year, they will debut the Kobe XI.

The Nike Kobe XI will tentatively launch on January 9th, 2016 in low top form.  Notice that an Elite version is the first color and model to launch.  Normally, it’s just a standard version, with all this interesting news so far, it’ll be exciting to see how Nike closes Kobe’s playing career.  As always, we’ll keep you posted once more news comes up.
