Air Jordan Retro 1 OG “Royal” 2017 Release

Last year, Jordan Brand brought the classic “Bred” colorway back for the iconic Jordan 1 model.  It was a return that was welcomed heavily, but has seen a reiteration a bit more than these upcoming “Royals” this year.

Jumpman continues to bring back one of the most sought after models of their history, the Air Jordan 1 “Royal”.   For 2017, the brand stays true to the OG form with Nike branding on the tongue and outsole.  With the same colorblock as the “Bred”, the shoe is dressed in Black and Varsity Royal just as it did in 1985.

The “Royal” colorway has been released on several occasions with the first in 1985, 2001, and 2013.  The main difference with this edition is the Swoosh being done in tumbled leather texture.

The Air Jordan 1 OG “Royal” will drop in limited quantities on April 1, 2017 for $160.00 USD.  Make sure you do your homework in advance as these are highly anticipated.  We will keep you posted with more information on availability so keep it locked here on Kicksologists.
