adidas Harden Vol. 1 “Red Glare” Drops This Friday

James Harden and adidas Basketball has teamed up again with a new colorway for the Houston Rockets superstar.

Leading the league with the most 40 point triple doubles, a historic feat, Harden continues to reach after that MVP trophy.  Leading the Houston Rockets with the best season it has had in years, The Beard has a nice case to become the Most Valuable Player.  Despite not averaging a triple-double, at least Harden has his own signature sneaker unlike previous teammate in OKC, Russel Westbrook.

Regardless who wins the MVP award, Harden and adidas won’t stop pushing out new colorways for his first signature model, the Vol. 1.  The Harden 1 showcases the tremendous Boost technology for your avid basketball player.  It uses the same cushion loved by many sneaker heads and players alike.  Encased within the midsole is a TPU plate that keeps the Boost cushion from being too bouncy.  You maintain stability throughout your game no matter how shifty you are on offense.

This new colorway uses the color palette of the previous ‘Cool Grey’ pattern that dropped several weeks ago except this time, it’s done in Red.  Inspired by the way he lights up the scoreboard, these ‘Red Glare’ joints flame up any court with the brightness of its silhouette.  A Red leather toe box and translucent outsole tops off the look with a darker red sock liner and laces to finish.

The adidas Harden Vol. 1 “Red Glare” is scheduled to release for $140.00 USD on April 7 at adidas retailers.
