Nike LeBron 14 Red Carpet Release Information

Back in 2009, one of the best LeBron models came out, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII.  One of the cleanest models ever to hit the retail, the LeBron 7 became an instant classic.  Literally seven years later, we have the LeBron 14 in Zoom form instead of Air Max, but we get a vintage colorway, the ‘Red Carpet’.

Personally my favorite colorway from the LeBron signature line, the Red Carpet LeBron 7 spews out classic.  The original introduced a woven type upper with neon Cyan highlights accompanied with a bright red hits.   Thankfully, they didn’t change much.  Designers from Nike made sure this iteration stayed true to the original keep the same color blocking.  The LeBron 14 uses bottom-loaded Zoom Air pods for a great responsive cushioning.  It would have been nice to see his old logo on these, but this version if just fine.  Despite the switch to the Nike LeBron Soldier 11, the King and Nike will continue to release his signature model for retail.

Moving forward, it would be nice to see Nike bring back old colorways such as the South Beach, Dunkman, or Graffiti’s.  My personal favorite is the Hardwood Classic or any previous Cavalier inspired colors.  Nike has been on point lately with different patterns and new packs such as the ‘Flip the Switch’ collection for the Playoffs, however it would be cool to see past colors return as well.

UPDATE 04/27/17:

The LeBron 14 Red Carpet will release May 27th, for $175.00 USD.
