MLK Nike Zoom KD III Black History Month Debut

Nike Zoom KD III 'MLK'

If you watched the Lakers and Thunder play last night on TNT, you surely had to have noticed all of the sleek black and gold kicks doing work up and down the court.  I was fortunate enough to nail down a last minute deal online, snagged a couple of tickets and saw the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Black History Month’ and this Nike Zoom KD III‘MLK’ on the feet of their superstar hosts live and up close.

This tribute colorway of the Nike Zoom KD III is incredibly easy on the eyes.  The upper can’t really look any cleaner as the black leather and matte-finish panel are locked in with a smooth gold Swoosh, KD logo and Flywire panel.  The design on the black leather panels represent African American art while the gold accents pay homage to the greatness of African American pioneers.  Durant may have only connected on 8 of 24 shots from the field, but his feet sure looked properly booted while doing so.

Release information for these kicks remain unknown, but we’ll definitely post it once it becomes available.  Which pair of MLK kicks do you think are sicker between these and the Kobe VI?
